Martin Walker and Dingle Smith are hoping to publish revised listings and additional reasearch for the Beer Duty Stamps of Australia. These will be published separately for each State and for the Commonwealth of Austarlia. The first of these will be for Tasmania.
A draft of the Tasmania listing is available on the website for the Tasmanian Philatelic Society which is www.tps.org.au.
We would welcome any additions or comments from revenue collectors, even if they only have one or two examples of these stamps. Any new information will be added to the final draft which we hope will be published by the Tasmanian Philatelic Society later this year.
The article attached here by Martin Walker provides and introduction to this subject. The contact addresses for Martin Walker is martin.walker@drakes.com.au and for Dingle Smith is dsm30722@bigpond.net.au
